A couple of months ago we announced that the search had begun to find a replacement CEO after Andrew Butcher who has been running the airline for the last 6 years has started to run out of the time and resources necessary to continue running the operations. While a number of good applications have been received, the management did not feel that any of the applicants could run the operation with the same commitment and enthusiasm that our pilots have come to expect.
We are pleased to announce that Andrew Butcher will be paying for the website and system renewal when it expires in early august, thereby helping to ensure Atlantic Northeast can continue to operate for another year. While Andrew Butcher will remain the CEO of the airline, work will soon begin to develop a larger management team to relieve Mr Butcher of some of his duties.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who applied for the CEO role, and to thank all of our pilots for their continued support and commitment.
